Theatre Minor

The Brooklyn Department of Communication Studies offers a theatre minor at the Brooklyn Campus, giving students the opportunity to participate in drama productions. This minor provides an overview of theatre and drama and is enhanced by the campus’ close proximity to the Brooklyn Academy of Music, as well as to Broadway and off-Broadway offerings. Elective theatre and drama courses should be chosen with departmental advisement to complement the student’s major field of study. Acceptance of transfer credits is at the discretion of the departmental chair or minor's chair.
