Information Technology Services
The Office of Information Technology Services has established a thoughtful and effective integration of technology into the scholarly environment by providing the University community with the tools necessary to support and enrich academic endeavors and experiences. Our students have access to several modern computer labs on our Long Island and Brooklyn campuses — all equipped with laser printers. Wireless access is provided throughout the vast majority of the campuses.
All of our students are provided a MySJC Portal account that is activated when registering for classes. The Portal provides our students with single sign-on access to St. Joseph's University Google Apps, Canvas (Learning Management System), WebAdvisor (to view grades, register for classes, pay bills, etc.), as well as many other college resources. All of our classrooms are equipped with large screen projection and whiteboard walls, as well as video, audio and Internet capabilities. Several classrooms on our campuses are outfitted with wireless laptops, desktops or SMART interactive whiteboards. We also offer classes in our Telepresence Classroom, where the two campuses connect through our remote classrooms that are fully equipped with high definition cameras, televisions, ceiling mounted speakers and microphone systems for a state-of-the-art classroom experience. And, our staff is here to help you make the most of all of the technology available to you.
