An internship is a form of experiential learning that integrates knowledge and theory learned in the classroom with practical application and skill development in a professional setting. Internships give students the opportunity to gain valuable applied experience and make connections in professional fields they are considering for a career path. They also give employers the opportunity to guide and evaluate talent. For more information, see our recruitment policies.
On-campus recruitment is an excellent way to build your presence on campus and attract highly qualified students. This can be done primarily through:
The Office of Career Preparation and Professional Development invites employers to visit campus and host an Information Table in a high-traffic area, informing students about opportunities available with your organization.
Career Fairs are offered at least once a year on both campuses. Employers from various fields are invited to participate and meet with students to share organizational information and opportunities for employment, internships or volunteering.
To discuss these on-campus recruitment opportunities, please contact us at 631.687.1248 or [email protected]
