Welcome to the St. Joseph’s University community! The mission of the Office of Career Preparation and Professional Development is to provide career education through programs, events and services that empower students to attain their professional goals.

The counselors in the Office of Career Preparation and Professional Development provide students with a strong foundation upon which to identify their strengths, interests, and values; discover and explore possibilities; gain experience; and develop strategies for making mindful career decisions.

Scheduling an Appointment

Students are encouraged to schedule an appointment with the Office of Career Development and Engagement as soon as they enter the University. To help you make that first appointment easier we recommend the following ways:
