Wellness and Health Services

Wellness Services

The Office of Counseling and Wellness at St. Joseph's University, New York's Brooklyn Campus provides services that support the holistic development of all students in body and mind. Wellness is seen as not just as the absence of disease, but rather a proactive and preventive approach designed to achieve optimum levels of physical, social, mental, and emotional functioning. This is especially important for students as you navigate change and growth at this formative point of your lives.

The Office of Counseling and Wellness' goals include fostering health and well-being within the university community. This is achieved through educational initiatives, raising awareness, collaborating with wellness experts in the community, researching optimal practices in the wellness field, and empowering students to take charge of their health.
