MASTER LITERATURE LECTURES

Distinguished authors visit The Writer’s Foundry to deliver a master lecture on a notable work of writing from the classical or contemporary canon. Each visiting lecturer is asked to speak, one-writer-to-another, about literary topics concerning the featured book and also answer questions that their presentations raise.

Lectures take place on select Wednesday and Thursday evenings from 6-7:30 p.m.

BROOKLYN VOICES

Brooklyn Voices is a literary series hosted by St. Joseph's University in collaboration with Greenlight Books and the Brooklyn Rail. It brings together writers and artists from Brooklyn and beyond for a variety of lectures, forums and performances. The series is an opportunity for students of the creative writing program to interact with fellow writers in their community.
