BROOKLYN and PATCHOGUE, N.Y. – August 20, 2021 – St. Joseph’s College (SJC) is pleased to announce the addition of a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Marketing to its program offerings for Fall 2021, available on all SJC campuses: SJC Brooklyn, SJC Long Island and SJC Online.

SJC’s M.B.A. in Marketing will provide students with a strong foundation required to succeed in today’s digital marketing environment, including how to manage creative teams, work with marketing analytics to achieve sales and marketing goals, create new product plans and develop brand management skills in the different marketing platforms.

"We are thrilled to offer this brand new M.B.A. in Marketing program,” said Jerome Grossman, director of graduate management studies for SJC Long Island and SJC Online. “As the dynamics of marketing in today's digital and social media environments continue to evolve, we've developed a program that will prepare students to master the issues that challenge marketing professionals every day.”

SJC faculty have real-world experience at many leading marketing corporations, and the program curriculum is designed to prepare graduates for leadership roles. Students will explore consumer insights, e-commerce and quantitative analysis, with concentrations in digital marketing, logistics and marketing data analytics. Some of the required courses include Leadership and Managerial Development; Legal Issues in Management; Organizational Theory and Design; Advertising Strategy and Management; Global Marketing and E-Commerce Strategies; and Critical Thinking in Social and Digital Media Marketing.

“The connectedness of today’s digital economy makes a graduate marketing degree critical to leaders who need to understand the parameters of effective management strategy,” said Sharon Didier, director of graduate management studies for SJC Brooklyn. “These classes were crafted to address the important role that social platforms play in an increasing open marketing climate. The benefits of this knowledge are enormous.”
