Alternative Spring Break

Alternative Spring Break

Alternative Spring Break (ASB) is a one week intensive service experience that places students in an area seeking assistance after a natural disaster.

This benefits the host community while fostering strong bonds between St. Joseph's University students and students from other schools also working at the site.

It is hard to pinpoint the most powerful part of ASB for participants and everyone seems to have a different answer. For some, it’s the service completed and for others it's the connections made with other students. For many, it's the chance to see and learn about an important issue first hand. Whatever the reasons, ASB hopes to provide all students with this amazing opportunity. Past trips have included: rebuilding the Jersey Shore, flood repair in Colorado and tornado relief in Missouri.

Alternative Spring Break is currently on hold. Check back to see when opportunities are available.
