SJC Long Island to Host HTM Symposium and Networking Breakfast

PATCHOGUE, N.Y. – November 5, 2018 – The Institute for Hospitality and Tourism Management (IHTM) at St. Joseph’s College (SJC) and the Long Island Hospitality Association are pleased to co-host a symposium and networking breakfast, “Trending Issues Facing the Hospitality Industry” on Friday, November 16 at 9 a.m. in the McGann Conference Center at SJC Long Island.

The program will include a networking breakfast, followed by a panel presentation and Q&A session with Kevin S. Law, president and chief executive officer of Long Island Association, Inc.; Jeffrey S. Ettenger, Esq., partner at Schwartz Ettenger, PLLC; and James Henry Dunne, Esq., professor of hospitality studies at NYIT’s School of Management.

Following the development of SJC’s Hospitality and Tourism Management Program, the HTM Institute was created to provide a leading voice in the discussion of responsible hospitality as a critical component to running a successful enterprise. In addition, the College seeks to prepare students for professional careers in this growing field, while making a positive impact, not only on our local region, but on the global community as well.
