Campus associate dean, co-chair for hospitality and tourism management and associate professor and chairperson of the Department of Recreation and Leisure Studies at SJC. “To this end, and as part of its mission, the IHTM continues to play an important role in providing information and fostering discussions relative to current topics across the discipline of hospitality and tourism management.”

The all-female panel will be moderated by Mike Johnston, principal of the Concorde Hotel Group and president of the Long Island Hospitality and Leisure Association. Closing remarks will be given by John C. Tsunis, Esq., chair of the New York State Hospitality and Leisure Association and owner of Holiday Inn Express Stony Brook. The mission of SJC’s Institute for Hospitality and Tourism Management is to provide a leading voice in the discussion of responsible hospitality as a critical component to running a successful enterprise. In addition, the College seeks to prepare students for professional careers in this growing field, while making a positive impact, not only on our local region, but on the global community as well.
