Working in two- and three-dimensional media, Linda Gangian evokes monumentality through accumulations of minutiae. She reinterprets Middle Eastern and American craft traditions, recalling carpets, quilts and calligraphy. The works are impressions of urban landscapes, which often reference specific sites and memories.
