Annual Northeast Regional Ethics Bowl

Annual Northeast Regional Ethics Bowl

November 14, 2015 (all day)

The annual Northeast Regional Ethics Bowl will be held at SJC Long Island on Saturday, November 14, and will include participants from other colleges and universities from the Northeast.

The annual competition is a team debate in which students examine high profile legal cases and offer well-reasoned ethical analyses to help develop critical skills that can be applied to all career pursuits. Each team that will be participating is seeking to qualify for the National Ethics Bowl.

The annual Northeast Regional Ethics Bowl gives hundreds of students from the United States and Canada the opportunity to participate in an academic competition, combining excitement with a valuable educational experience in practical and professional ethics. The cases that are presented to competitors are developed by ethics faculty, researchers and professionals. During the course of the competition, students must demonstrate their understanding of the facts of each case and articulate the related ethical principles.
