  Doubt

  Clare Rose Playhouse

  By John Patrick Shanley

The time is 1964 at a Catholic church in the Bronx where a nun faces down the object of her suspicions.’ Doubt ‘is an inspired study in moral uncertainty with the compellingly certain structure of an old-fashioned detective drama. “…A superbly told yarn with lines that crackle with intelligence and rhythm and the complexity of human behavior.” Winner of the 2005 Pulitzer Prize for Drama and the Drama Desk and Tony Award for Best Play.
