Boomgaarden, Ph.D., has once again been named to the 2023 City & State New York Higher Education Power 100 List, highlighting New York's most influential people in academia, including leaders of some of the best-known colleges, universities and professional schools.

“I am extremely honored to be selected to this year’s Power 100 List,” said President Boomgaarden. “The past few years have been challenging, but I remain optimistic about the post-pandemic future of higher education in New York, and specifically of St. Joseph’s University. I congratulate my fellow honorees on their selection to this prestigious list and look forward to our continued good work in educating future leaders.”

Dr. Boomgaarden is a graduate of the Eastman School of Music, and also studied at the University of Vienna, where he was a Fulbright Scholar.
