SJC to Host Management Roundtable Breakfast

BROOKLYN, NY NOVEMBER 2, 2009 St. Josephs College is pleased to welcome  Judith Lovell as the guest speaker for its fall Management Roundtable Breakfast on Friday, November 20 at Tuohy Hall, 245 Clinton Avenue, 8:30 - 10:30 a.m. This event is free and open to the public.

The topic: "Stress in the Workplace and How to Cope, is intended to present strategies for easing tension amongst staff and create a more harmonious and pleasant work environment. For students who have received certification in the field of human resources, this session will allow them to accrue hours toward recertification for the PHR and SPHR.

Judith Lovells professional career path began almost 30 years ago at M.T.A. New York City Transit. She has expanded her areas of expertise by working in the fields of statistics and analysis, human resources, labor relations, revenue, MetroCard customer relations and corporate communications. In addition to her primary responsibilities at the M.T.A., she teaches various business courses at St. Joseph's College. Drawing on her experience in advertising, marketing research and sales, Lovell has taught interesting, practical and challenging sessions through the School of Professional and Graduate Studies for the past 11 years.
