Online NHA Disclosure for Out of State Residents

For students living and/or practicing NHA outside New York State, St. Joseph's University, will make all reasonable efforts to determine whether the Nursing Home Administrator Certificate programs meet licensure requirements in any of the other 49 states, the District of Columbia, or in US territories. To ensure a smooth transition into the licensing phase, we recommend reaching out to your local state boards. They can provide the most accurate guidance on the final steps.

After making all reasonable efforts, SJNY has determined its curriculum in NHA, if successfully completed, sufficiently meets the educational requirements for licensure in the following states/US territories: AL, AK, AZ, AR, CA, CO, CT, DE, FL, GA, HI, ID, IL, IN, IA, KS, KY, LA, ME, MD, MA, MA, MN, MS, MO, MT, NE, NV, NH, NJ, NM, NC, ND, OH, OK, OR, PA, RI, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VT, WA, WV, WI, WY, AS, FM, GU, MH, MP, PW, VI.

After making all reasonable efforts, SJNY is unable to determine whether its curriculum in NHA, if successfully completed, sufficiently meets the educational requirements for licensure in the following states/US territories. The following states do not meet educational requirements: VA, DC, PR.
