Online ABA Disclosure for Out of State Residents

For students living and/or practicing ABA outside New York State, St. Joseph's University, will make all reasonable efforts to determine whether the M.S. and Advanced Certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis Graduate programs meet licensure requirements in any of the other 49 states, the District of Columbia, or in US territories. To ensure a smooth transition into the licensing phase, we recommend reaching out to your local state boards. They can provide the most accurate guidance on the final steps.

After making all reasonable efforts, SJNY has determined its curriculum in ABA, if successfully completed, sufficiently meets the educational requirements for licensure in the following states/territories: AL, AL, AK, AZ, AR, CA, CO, CT, DE, FL, GA, HA, ID, IL, IN, IA, KS, KY, LA, ME, MD, MA, MI, MN, MS, MO, MT, NE, NV, NH, NJ, NM, NC, ND, OH ,OK, OR, RI, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VT, VA, WA, WV, WI, WY, AS, DC, FM, GU, MH, MP, PW, PR, VI

After making all reasonable efforts, SJNY is unable to determine whether its curriculum in ABA, if successfully completed, sufficiently meets the educational requirements for licensure in the following states. The following states do not meet educational requirements:  PA (we do not qualify for their crisis intervention category)
