ST. JOSEPH’S UNIVERSITY, NEW YORK TO HONOR ALUMNI AT SIXTH ANNUAL GALA

BROOKLYN and PATCHOGUE, N.Y. – September 25, 2026 – St. Joseph’s University, New York (SJNY) will honor six distinguished alumni at its sixth annual Esse Non Videri Gala Awards, toasting the best of St. Joseph’s and raising funds for student scholarships on Friday, November 6 at the Garden City Hotel in Garden City, New York.

“We are proud to recognize this year’s honorees for the incredible impact they are making in their communities,” said Rory Shaffer-Walsh, vice president for institutional advancement at SJNY. “These individuals are inspirational and we look forward to celebrating and congratulating them for their impressive achievements.”

This year’s honorees are:
•    President’s Esse Non Videri Award: Amy Loeb ’06, MBA ’12, senior vice president and president of Peconic Bay Medical Center, Northwell Health 
•    Excellence in Social Impact Award: Lisa Gatti ’90, founder and chief executive officer of Pal-O-Mine Equestrian
•    Lifetime of Leading Award: Rev. Cynthia A. Liggon ’02, senior pastor of First Baptist Church of Riverhead
•    Rising Star Award: Eileen Conway ’23, MSW ’25, social worker for Turning Point Specialized Services
•    Rising Star Award: Elizabeth Knecht ’24, MBA ’25, director of business administration for Benchmark Senior Living
•    Rising Star Award: Dhiraj K. Chaudhary ’22, senior associate engineer for KKR Financial Services Company

The event begins with a cocktail reception at 7 p.m., followed by dinner and award presentations at 8 p.m.
