Clare Rose Playhouse Presents ‘The Magic Toy Shop’

November 12, 2015

PATCHOGUE, N.Y. – NOVEMBER 12, 2015 – The Clare Rose Playhouse, a community theater at SJC Long Island, will continue its 31st anniversary season with the children’s classic, The Magic Toy Shop. The show will run on Saturday, December 5 and Sunday, December 6, 2015.

The Magic Toy Shop, by Clapp and Earley, is fun for all ages and tells the tale of a master toymaker who sprinkles magic dust on his dolls to make them come alive. The toymaker cherishes his unusual dolls, but they want to be played with and loved by children, so he eventually lets them go … just in time for Christmas.

Individual tickets for this show are priced at $8. Show times are 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. on both days. For more information, call the box office at 631.654.0199 or visit sjcny.edu/clarerose.

The Clare Rose Playhouse is accessible via the South Service Road of Sunrise Highway, just east of Exit 52 (Waverly Avenue) in Patchogue, on the northeast corner of SJC Long Island.
