Connect with and learn from special educators and students from all over the world. Visit castles and world heritage sites in Prague, and enjoy time to explore the city's wonders on your own.

Itinerary

  • Day 1: Sunday, June 23 — Departure
    Overnight flight from JFK to Prague. Stopover in Dublin.  
  • Day 2: Monday, June 24 —Prague
    Arrive earlier in the day. Go on an afternoon tour of the charming riverside capital city.
  • Day 3: Tuesday, June 25 — Prague
    Morning Guided Tour: Charles Bridge, Castle Hill, and Jewish Heritage neighborhood.
    Afternoon: Enjoy a 1-hour Vltava river cruise.
  • Day 4: Wednesday, June 26 — Pilsen Conference
    Train to Pilsen to arrive before the International Association for Special Education Conference. Spend a day getting settled and having free time to explore the medieval town of Pilsen.  
  • Days 5-8: June 27-30 — Pilsen Conference
    Attend the International Association for Special Education Conference with speakers and presenters throughout the world.
  • Day 9: Monday, July 1 — Prague
    Morning train to return to Prague. Enjoy free time in Prague. 
  • Day 10: Tuesday, July 2 — Prague
    Full-day guided excursion to South Bohemia. Meander through Český Krumlov, the town and the castle.
  • Day 11: Wednesday, July 3 — Prague
    Visit the second most important town in Bohemia, Kutná Hora. Learn about its important silver mining past and marvel at the UNESCO World Heritage monuments of the historic town center. 
  • Day 12 : Thursday, July 4 — Prague
    Fly back to JFK.

Passport Requirements

Due to new government regulations, passport information must be provided with your final payment. If you need a new passport, apply immediately.

Without passport information tickets cannot be issued and delays with ticketing may create penalties and/or cancellations without a refund.

A copy of your passport is due no later than January 22, 2024.
