Program Description
Join the Law & Justice Society and the Office of Global Studies to trade your classroom walls for marble monuments and massive museum halls on an action-packed four-day adventure to Washington, D.C.! From iconic memorials to world-class museums, this immersive experience brings textbooks to life in the nation’s capital.

Itinerary
- October 1: Morning departure from Penn via Amtrak to DC. Private coach bus for guided orientation tour of the city center and its most famous landmarks.
- October 2: Meet your guide for a comprehensive city sightseeing tour. This includes essential photo stops at the Washington Memorials. Visit the White House Visitor Center. Potential afternoon meetup with Alumni and/or SJNY Board member
- October 3: Morning tour of the International Spy museum. In the afternoon utilize your included public transportation pass to visit Washington's renowned museums. With a wide variety of options, including the Smithsonian institutions (like the National Air and Space Museum, the National Museum of Natural History, and the National Museum of American History), the National Gallery of Art, and many others, you can tailor your museum visits to your specific interests, whether they be in art, science, history, or culture.
- October 4: Utilize your public transportation pass to get to the Amtrak station for early afternoon departure back to Penn Station.
