Business in Italy

Class: Only one of these courses is required: ACC 211, ACC 342 (prerequisite or corequisite ACC 200 or ACC 213), BUS 275, BUS 130 OR BUS 150

Embark on a dream trip to Italy and explore the historical highlights of Milan, Venice, and Rome. Experience Milan, the fashion capital of the world, with its own unique architectural flair, island hop in the city built on the water, Venice, featuring sites such as the famous St. Mark's Square. While in Rome, explore ancient attractions such as the Colosseum, the Vatican and Sistine Chapel. During the business part of the program, students will get a behind-the-scenes look at successful Italian companies.

  • Day 1: Friday, May 31 — Depart
    Evening departure from JFK to Milan
  • Day 2: Saturday, June 1 — Milan
    Arrive in Milan and participate in a panoramic tour of the city where you will get to see major landmarks/historical sites including the main cathedral, Duomo.
  • Day 3: Sunday, June 2 — Milan
    Possible day trip or free day
  • Day 4: Monday June 3 — Venice
    Company visit in Milan. In the afternoon, take a public train to Venice-Mestre. Check-in to your hotel in Mestre for two nights.
  • Day 5: Tuesday, June 4 — Venice
    Explore Venice Island and take a guided tour  where you will visit the iconic San Marco square. Be mesmerized by the Venetian island where glass is blown, on the island of Murano.
  • Day 6: Wednesday, June 5 — Venice
    Enjoy free time in Venice. In the afternoon take the public train to Florence. Check-in to Florentine hotel for 4 nights.
  • Day 7: Thursday, June 6 — Florence
    Engage in a panini tour of Florence, followed by a tour of Florence University of the Arts [FUA], and finished off with a dinner at FUA.
  • Day 8: Friday, June 7 — Florence
    Free day in Florence to explore the famous art galleries and the riverside city.
  • Day 9: Saturday, June 8 — Florence
    A possible day trip or free day in Florence.
  • Day 10: Sunday, June 9 — Rome
    Your group will catch a morning public train to Rome. When you arrive, you'll have an afternoon guided tour, on public transportation, of the city highlights including the Colosseum, Palatine and Roman Forum.
  • Day 11: Monday, June 10 — Rome
    11:30 AM  Three hour cooking class which will include pasta and lunch. Remainder of the day at leisure.
  • Day 12: Tuesday, June 11 — Rome
    Morning visit to the Vatican. Enjoy a free afternoon at your leisure. In the evening, join the group for a farewell dinner at local restaurant.
  • Day 13: Wednesday, June 12 — Return
    Fly back from Rome to NY JFK.

Passport Requirements

Due to new government regulations, passport information must be provided with your final payment. If you need a new passport, apply immediately.

Without passport information tickets cannot be issued and delays with ticketing may create penalties and/or cancellations without a refund.

A copy of your passport is due no later than January 22, 2024.
