Program Description 

Explore the ancient ruins of Greece while learning about the rise, flourishing and decline of Ancient Greece. During our tour, we will visit cosmopolitan Athens, the cityscape Acropolis, the famous Meteora monasteries and historic Thessaloniki, Greece's northern city.

Itinerary

  • May 15: Flight to Athens
  • May 16: Arrive in Athens, Panoramic Tour of Athens. Guided tour of Plaka and the historical center. Explore ancient and modern Athens by walking along Anafiotika, Plaka, and Monastiraki Square.
  • May 17: Visit the Acropolis and the New Acropolis Museum.
  • May 18: Depart Athens and travel to Delphi. Visit the Delphi site and its museum.
  • May 19: Visit the most famous Monasteries in Metamora. After lunch, visit the second monastery in Meteora.
  • May 20: Visit the Verginia Archeological site and Museum. After, depart to Thessaloniki.
  • May 21: Panoramic tour of Thessaloniki. After, visit the monument of the Rotunda and the Archeological Museum of Thessaloniki.
  • May 22: Visit the Archeological site and museum of Amphipolis. After, we will drive to the city of Kavala and visit the house of Mehmet Ali.
  • May 23: Free day at the Beach in the area of Khalkidhiki. Farewell Dinner included.
  • May 24: Flight from Thessaloniki to JFK

Passport Requirements

Due to new government regulations, passport information must be provided with your final payment. If you need a new passport, apply immediately.

Without passport information tickets cannot be issued and delays with ticketing may create penalties and/or cancellations without a refund. If you don’t have a passport, please apply for it and provide a passport processing receipt with your deposit.

A copy of your passport is due no later than January 22, 2026.
