This continued scholarship represents the partnership between the Kevin Noonan, Jr. Foundation and St. Joseph’s with a goal of supporting future mental health practitioners. Presenting the award were Kevin Noonan, Sr., Peg Noonan and Erin Noonan.

"We are proud to present this year’s Kevin Noonan Jr. Scholarship to Kylie Miller and I am certain that the educators here will tell you how important it is to see through the rules, laws and mountains of paperwork to see the human side of what is being experienced," said Noonan. "That is where many of you pursuing a career in social work will be extremely valued."

Miller currently works with children with autism at Just Kids in Riverhead and is a graduate student in the University’s MSW program. She is also a member of Pi Alpha, the national social work honor society for social work students, faculty and practitioners.
