Bio

Ralph Nofi has shared his extensive marketing experience with St. Joseph’s University students for almost 20 years as an instructor in the Department of Business Administration. Before coming to St. Joseph’s, Mr. Nofi worked for Allied Stores Corporation in several positions, including president of Allied Stores Marketing Corporation, where he supervised the company’s New York and Los Angeles staff involved in marketing, merchandising, financial, promotional, transportation and human resources functions. He was also president of Allied Stores International, where he managed the corporation’s global merchandising network.

As a committed member of the university faculty, Mr. Nofi served on several committees, such as the Curriculum Committee, Faculty Interests Council, Admissions Council and Agenda Committee.

He now sits on the Academic Development Committee and the Long Island Council for the Arts. He has served as global studies coordinator and he established the University’s first center for study abroad in 2000. He was also instrumental in the development and implementation of the honors program. Mr. Nofi’s dedication to the university community was recognized by the Student Government Association, who presented him with the Above and Beyond Award in 2003.
