Part Time Clerical Position

The Registrar’s Office is accepting applications for a part time position for the One Stop on the Long Island campus. The successful candidate will have excellent customer service and data entry skills. The position is for 15- 20 hours per week between, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm, covering Monday through Thursday, hours scheduled as needed. This is a 10-month position, from mid-August until mid-June. 

Responsibilities

  • Process transcript requests
  • Process Enrollment Verification Requests and Letters of Good Standing
  • Order office supplies
  • Data enter advisor assignments in Colleague
  • Answer phone to the main line in office
  • Respond back to voicemail messages and email inquiries where appropriate
  • Handle the submission of all invoices and payments in Perceptive Content
  • Cross-trained on several different basic functions in Colleague – registration, entering/changing grades, changing an address, assigning a priority registration time, etc. 
  • Handle general inquiries from foot traffic that comes into One Stop.
  • Other clerical duties as assigned by Registrar

Qualifications

High school diploma required. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Previous experience working in a high school or university setting preferred. Attention to detail, superior data entry and customer service skills. Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel. Colleague ERP experience a plus.
