Bio

Juan Lopez Espantaleon was born in Madrid, Spain. He began to photograph at the age of twelve with a Kodak Camera Instamatic 25. He moved to New York in 2006. Juan has been teaching both studio and art history for the last seven years. He has published his work in multiple magazines including El Pais, New York Times Magazine, The New Yorker, and Elle.
