Bio

Christina Galasso is a NYS-licensed Certified Public Accountant with over 20 years of public accounting experience, following six years in private accounting before transitioning to public. She is also a member of the NYSSCPA, serving as an executive board member of the Suffolk Chapter, Chair of the Employee Benefits and NexGen Committees, and actively participating in State-wide positions and committees. Christina was also included in the FORBES 2025 America’s Top 200 CPAs list.

Christina has a tremendous amount of knowledge in the field of taxation from her experience as a Senior Tax Manager with CBIZ, a large national public accounting firm, as well as her many years of experience working for a medium sized accounting firm on Long Island's East End. During the earlier years of her career Christina performed financial statements audits for a number of industries including Employee Benefit Plans, Real Estate, Non-for-Profit, and governmental entities such as local school and fire districts. She has performed tax services for businesses ranging from small family owned farms to large corporations and high net worth individuals. In 2017 she graduated from SUNY Old Westbury with a Masters in Taxation. Since then she's moved away from audit and attestation work to instead focus on tax planning, tax preparation, and business and accounting consulting.

Christina's private accounting experience is an advantage to her clients where she is able to help train accounting staff and bookkeepers with ease.

As a Professor for St. Joseph’s University, Christina enjoys teaching and being a resource for the next generation of accounting professionals. She teaches a wide range of undergraduate and graduate level classes in the Accounting department.
