BROOKLYN and PATCHOGUE, N.Y. – March 15, 2021 – St. Joseph’s College (SJC) is pleased to announce that its ongoing brand and recruitment campaign, “Ready. Set. Joe’s,” has been recognized at the 36th Annual Educational Advertising Awards (EAA), earning gold awards in the categories of COVID Marketing Campaign, Radio Advertising Single and Television Advertising Series, as well as a silver award in Newspaper Advertising Series.

“We are very proud of this campaign, and especially thankful for the creativity of our marketing partners at Austin Williams, who took an already strong brand and made it even more powerful by adapting the creative and messaging to reflect the current climate during a pandemic,” said Jessica McAleer Decatur, SJC’s vice president for marketing and communications. “The Ready. Set. Joe’s campaign continues to help strengthen and elevate the profile of St. Joseph’s College, and we are very excited to have been recognized with these prestigious awards.”

The “Ready. Set. Joe’s” campaign was launched in fall 2017 with a print, out-of-home, digital and radio campaign. A corresponding TV campaign launched in early 2018 in local markets on Long Island and in Brooklyn and Queens. Images and artwork for the “Ready. Set. The campaign was also awarded seven gold awards and one silver award at the 33rd annual Educational Advertising Awards in 2018 in the categories of Integrated Marketing Campaign, Magazine Series, Newspaper Series, Radio Series, Television Series, Total Advertising, Total Recruitment and Outdoor.

The Educational Advertising Awards is the largest and most respected educational advertising awards competition in the country. This year, more than 2,000 entries were received from 1,000 colleges, universities and secondary schools from around the world. A national panel of higher education marketers, advertising creative directors, marketing and advertising professionals judged entries in 53 categories.
