Accelerated Weekend College

Continue your education. Take advantage of flexible scheduling. Get ready.

Join the Accelerated Weekend College and start working toward your bachelor’s degree —balancing your career and family responsibilities with our flexible, every-other-weekend model. Attending class on eight weekends each trimester, and you can earn up to 27 credits toward your degree in one year.

Students in the Accelerated Weekend College enjoy small classes with faculty who are professionals in their fields; have full access to our full-service academic library, technology support and fitness facility; and take advantage of courses designed to help with individual career planning and transition.

Classes meet every other weekend on Saturday mornings and afternoons, as well as Sunday mornings. Many students only attend one session on a weekend and fill the other classes in their schedule during the week, at night or online.

"Signing up for Weekend College was the first step in rebuilding my life. With the faculty’s guidance, I was able to acquire knowledge and skills that helped open the door to new professional opportunities. The convenient schedule that Weekend College offers allowed me to obtain my bachelor’s degree while I worked a full-time job and raised my son. I will always be grateful that I chose St. Joseph's University."
