Dual Degree, B.S. in Human Services and M.S. in Human Services Leadership
Two degrees at an accelerated option.

St. Joseph’s University's online dual degree bridges the two popular Human Services degrees to offer a combined B.S./M.S. When students complete the B.S. in Human Services, they will only need six more classes, or 18 credits, to earn their master’s degree. Since they completed four graduate courses as part of their undergraduate degree, they not only save time, but they save money as well.

This combination degree is specially designed to promote and teach the skills of human services work, while at the same time introducing the competencies of management and leadership for students seeking to move up within their agency. Students will graduate knowing the broader field of social welfare, case management and special populations, but also the financial, legal, regulatory, political, social and historical aspects of the human services industry, preparing them to move into managerial roles.

This combination degree accelerates the student’s progress through the degrees, and is especially well suited for those who currently work in the field and need the credentials for advancement.
