Directions to Long Island

St. Joseph's University, New York's Long Island Campus, located in the Village of Patchogue in Suffolk County, is easily accessible from all areas of the island. Although O'Connor Hall, the campus's main building, is located on West Roe Boulevard, the University’s main parking entrance is on the Sunrise Highway south service road, just east of Waverly Avenue.

Via the Long Island Expressway (L.I.E., I-495)
Veterans Memorial Highway (Exit 57 off the L.I.E.): Travel south on Veterans Highway (Route 454) to Sunrise Highway (Route 27). Take Sunrise eastbound to Waverly Avenue (Exit 52). The College entrance and parking facilities are located on the south service road 1,000 feet beyond the traffic light on Waverly Avenue.

Patchogue–Holbrook Road (Exit 61 off the L.I.E.)
Take Patchogue-Holbrook Road (Route 19) south. This road will eventually become Waverly Avenue. Take Waverly just over the Sunrise Highway overpass and make a left at the light, onto the Sunrise Highway south service road. The College entrance and parking facilities are located 1,000 feet east on the right.

Nicolls Road (Exit 62 off the L.I.E.)
Take Nicolls Road south to Sunrise Highway, heading east Travel to Exit 52 (Waverly Avenue). Take south service road to College entrance on right.

Via Sunrise Highway
From the East
Travel west on Sunrise Highway (Route 27) to Exit 52. Turn left at the first light onto Waverly Avenue, then turn left again at the next light onto the Sunrise Highway south service road. The College entrance and parking facilities are located 1,000 feet ahead on the right.

From the West
Travel east on Sunrise Highway (Route 27) to Exit 52 (Waverly Avenue). Continue on the Sunrise Highway south service road. The College entrance and parking facilities are located 1,000 feet beyond the traffic light, past Waverly Avenue.

Via Train
Take the Long Island Railroad to the Patchogue station on the Montauk Branch. Take the SCT bus S-63 to Waverly Avenue and Roe Boulevard (front college entrance).
